Verdict

The five-year-old Casse Tete left previous form well behind when easily beating a previous winner in a novices’ handicap at Sandown last month and Gary Moore has done well with similar types in the past. Present Man was biting off than he could chew in the Kauto Star at Kempton in December but had won a Grade 2 at Doncaster before that. A Grade 2 winner over hurdles, Value At Risk won a four-runner race at Bangor in October but hasn’t been seen since. BROTHER TEDD gives the impression he’s capable of better than he’s shown so far over fences as he was still leading the useful Barney Dwan when falling and bringing down that rival in a beginners’ chase at Wincanton in December. He’s been given plenty of time to get over that mishap and is getting weight from all-bar the modest Crowd Control.
