Verdict

The drop back to 2m recently has seen San Benedeto record back-to-back victories at Musselburgh and Doncaster but he’s giving away lumps of weight to his rivals here, though is still preferred to stablemate Clic Work. The ground may have turned against Un Prophete while Ardmayle is upped in class but Red Devil Star is a course and distance winner and Champagne At Tara beat Un Prophete at Leicester before finding the company too hot at Cheltenham. IMPERIAL PRESENCE didn’t have a particularly hard race at Newbury last week as all of the fences in the home straight were omitted. A 3lb rise is fair and he can follow up.
