Verdict

Polish Crown produced two fine efforts on fast going and another on Polytrack before a disappointing run on softer ground at Ffos Las. She may not like this ground but DELORES ROCKET certainly does and she gets the vote. Her two recent victories have been on soft going and this looks an easier option than the nursery she won at Pontefract on Monday for which she has a 6lb penalty. Baker's Pursuit was a long way behind the selection at Carlisle a month ago though that was her first start since May when she had shown a bit of potential. Slipstream Angel made a winning debut on heavy going and will have found the ground much too quick at York last time while neither Lord Avonbrook nor Corton Lad are out of this.
