      Verdict

Goldmadchen won over a mile on heavy ground here before failing to catch Schmooze over 1m4f at Wolverhampton. This should be her trip and she's well enough treated to get involved. Ebony Clarets won a couple of minor races on quicker ground in August but hasn't run badly in better races on softer going subsequently and isn't out of this. The inconsistent Cosmic Moon ran poorly at Hamilton last time and though it would be no surprise to see him bounce back he was 14 lengths behind HIGH RESOLUTION and it's Linda Perratt's charge, who has since been outclassed in a Class 3 handicap at Warwick, who can take this with Garry Whillans' claim a major plus. Moheebb is in fine form and even a penalty for last week's Newcastle victory shouldn't prevent another big effort.
