    Verdict

Lady In Question won a soft-ground handicap at Doncaster in April and performed with credit in a better handicap than this at York last time. Penny Pot Lane completed a double on soft ground last summer so could do with some rain though she's back on the same mark as her last success. With her yard in outstanding form Fashion Theory is likely to do better than she's shown since arriving from France though she's another with a soft-ground preference. Kodicat has mainly raced ay a lower level but the in-foal BROCKHOLES and Maureb are virtually inseparable on their 1-2 over the course and distance last month with the former just getting the vote to confirm the form as he's done better subsequently.
