Verdict

SEA LORD, who fell on his debut over fences at Perth last month, reverts to hurdling after contesting better class events including when placed at Listed level and can give John Ferguson a first-race double. Vivant Poeme has to be a threat after his comfortable victory at Fontwell and Harry Fry's charge will make a bold bid to defy a 6lb rise while Mile House is another in good heart after landing a slightly lower grade handicap at Worcester. Dubh Eile has done very well since joining Tim Vaughan from Ireland and followed minor handicap victories at Newton Abbot and Aintree with a fair run in much better grade at Worcester where she only faded from the last.
