Verdict

It's A Gimme won this a year ago and looks to have been primed for a repeat after a very good run at Stratford in May. He's 11lb higher this time but Barry Geraghty's presence suggests he'll be up for this. PUMPED UP KICKS (NAP) looks to have got in here lightly. Dan Skelton's charge won a Listed contest at Cheltenham in April and didn't have much to do to follow up at Worcester a week later. He's been given plenty of time and is on a lenient mark so looks the one to be on. Valco De Touzaine has a bit more to do than when successful at Worcester but wouldn't be coming here without good reason though the main threat may arrive in the shape of Dell' Arca, placed in the Irish Champion Hurdle before an impressive victory over fences at Uttoxeter. The in-form Champion Court will make a bold bid to carry his big weight with distinction though this is a tough task.
