Verdict

Not To Know had a neck to spare over Aladdins Cave when successful at Dundalk early last month but the revised weights favour the runner-up as the winner has won subsequently. The pair look certain to get involved again but neither has the scope of ALAJAN, who was having only the seventh start of his career when beating The Rossmeister on fast ground at Tramore where he stayed on very strongly over the 1m4f trip. Lynott couldn't cope with an 8lbs rise for scoring at Roscommon when 3l behind Laughing Boy at Fairyhouse and may be in the handicapper's grip but the veteran Tipper Road has been running very well over hurdles and is no forlorn hope from this lenient handicap mark.
