Verdict

Another chance is given to Adorabella ahead of the in-form Wogan's Sister and Snowy Indian. Alan King's mare has proved a little frustrating to date but has been seeing out her races strongly over ten furlongs recently and this step back up in trip looks well worthwhile. She is still a maiden but has run some creditable races in defeat and recent performances indicate that she has sufficient ability to win a race of this nature. Wogan's Sister stayed on resolutely to win a claimer over ten furlongs at Yarmouth before winning a handicap as she liked over a mile at the same venue nine days ago. She's in the form of her life at present but it remains to be seen whether she has the reserves of stamina required to be as effective at this longer trip. The trip should prove to be no problem for Snowy Indian who looked onepaced in a modest contest over ten furlongs at Redcar last time. That was a disappointing effort but this well bred filly is only lightly raced and may improve for this longer trip and experience. Etain attracted market support last time and may yet be able to deliver, Trysting Grove didn't run too badly on her latest start and April's Daughter is still unexposed and not discarded just yet but we'll be awarding the vote to Adorabella.
