CLEVER COOKIE (NAP) won a Group 3 on his reappearance last year and ended his campaign with a solid second in a Group 2 at Ascot. He holds Eye of The Storm on collateral form and, with conditions no problem, will be tough to beat in this. Seismos has also won a Group 3 but that was in 2014. He only managed one run last year and was well beaten so is best watched today. Nearly Caught was found an easy opportunity at Pontefract in the autumn, beating Amber Flush by 10 lengths, and is a tough sort. But he probably has plenty on his plate today at the weights and so does the versatile First Mohican. Giant Redwood won a Navan maiden for Ballydoyle in October and could be anything but he has his first outing today for new connections.
