Little Pippin took a seller over a mile here on heavy going in the autumn but has to race from 4lb out of the handicap. Gawdawpalin won a maiden at Windsor in October so should go well and Match My Fire made much of the running over a shorter trip here on his final start last year and is interesting. Purple Raven is a likely improver but so is BLUFF CRAG, who ran a nice race at York in October when unfancied. He is the type to profit from a lenient mark in handicaps before long. A market move for Palmerston would be interesting but he's only raced on Polytrack so far.
