Captain Revelation has been going well on Fibresand lately but his record on Turf is less impressive. Simply Shining could be interesting near the foot of the weights but still looks a few pounds too high. Karl Burke saddled last year's winner but Little Lady Katie probably has a bit to find and Hillbilly Boy has never won over this trip on Turf. Starboard won on soft going at Chepstow in August, however, and Jack's Revenge was second twice off this mark last year and had probably gone over the top when disappointing at Doncaster in November. GREENSIDE is having only his second start on Turf. He won by five lengths at Newmarket last year on his reappearance and has the scope to be better than a Class 3 handicapper so gets the nod.
