In depth

Verdict

An unusually small field for this mile and half contest and the three in with chances are York Cliff, High Frequency and Tiegs, the last named just gets the verdict. The selection showed much improved form to beat Farnborough last time. Coming again over a furlong out and going on to score by four lengths. That was in a slightly stronger race than this and so he has obvious form claims. High Frequency has been running well over further but does have solid form over course and distance. With the stable amongst the winners he should be capable of getting involved in the finish. York Cliff has also been contesting better races than this and although he has to give weight away he should be in there at the death. Scott's Mill is from a top yard but has shown very little in three runs and so we return to Tiegs as our idea of the winner.
