Kentucky Bullet is better than he has consented to show in his last two outings and is fancied to have enough resilience to resist the challenges of Dextrous and Liquid Lover, who rate as the biggest dangers from the remainder. Liquid Lover has the ability to win a race at this level and, having gone well for Eddie Ahern in the past, should be capable of being in the shake up today. However, winning doesn't come naturally to him and it has to be a concern that he is still a maiden after 18 previous attempts. It is hard to believe that Dextrous was sent off as the favourite when Mubtaker won his maiden at Newbury way back in the mists of time. But his decline was rapid subsequently and it is no surprise to see him plying hi trade at this level. Even so, he did win last time out and has place claims if he can muster a similar effort today. However, Kentucky Bullet - already a five-times winner at this course - looks a far more reliable option and he is taken to bounce back to form in this company.
