In depth

Verdict

A modest contest can go to Dylan, who has an obvious chance if he runs to his best, while Zastra's Pride and Beginners Luck also have to be respected in a weak event like this. Beginners Luck put in her best performance to date when finishing second here last week. She shaped as if she can pay her way at this level and is worth noting in the betting market. Zastra's Pride also put in a fair effort the last time she was seen in action and, as her stable always have to be feared at this time of year, the daughter of Zaha looks set to be a leading player in this company. However, Dylan has the strongest overall profile and is fancied to relish the ease in grade the most. A mile should suit the mount of Kim Tinkler and, considering the recent form of his yard, Dylan looks the one to be on here
