In depth

Verdict

THINK LUCKY is a tentative recommendation to see off Paradise Expected and Paperchaser. David Pipe's representative is still a maiden under all codes though had ran creditably enough in defeat over hurdles. The assessor uses that mark on a switch to the larger obstacles. Paradise Expected has the edge of chasing experience. That said, she was worryingly pulled up sharply on her most recent visit to the racecourse. Paperchaser was well supported when landing an event at Perth in July. He gets on well with Campbell Gillies and the market has to be watched again this evening. Pure Magic posted a 40/1 shock at Newton Abbot. There appeared to be no fluke on that occasion though it had followed precious little on the formbook. Stepchange was well held in plating company latest but the booking of Robert Thornton catches the eye. Alecia is moderate though should ensure that they go off at a decent lick. Think Lucky is the pick.
