TROTSKY is marginally preferred to Marrel and Rosses Point. Jimmy Lambe's charge seems to be enjoying something of an Indian summer as far as his career is concerned but there has been no fluke about his victories. His wins have come over shorter though as he has ran over three miles in Irish points, there should be little to worry about tonight. Marrel is under a 14lb penalty. He won comfortably enough at Newton Abbot on ground that presumably would have been plenty soft enough. Rosses Point was well beaten in an amateur riders handicap and the going has to be put up as a major imponderable. Keltic Lord made all to land an event at Perth last month through struggled in an attempt to follow up at Worcester. Jackella has had a brief absence after a flop at Bangor so the market should be monitored closely. Corrib Drift stays this trip albeit at his own pace whilst the remainder are hard to fancy. Trotsky can prove the most resolute on this occasion.
