Verdict

Fier Destrier has only shown a modicum of ability in four starts over fences though at least he got round safely at Downpatrick last time. Winning point-to-pointer Clan Music has been in good form over timber and was only beaten a short-head at Listowel on Monday. He proved consistent over the smaller obstacles and looks the type to do well over fences. GLACIAL PROMISE has plenty of experience over fences and is a safe jumper which should stand him in good stead here. His two runs this season suggest there is a race of this nature within his capabilities. Seldom Fed could be the main threat on his chasing bow as Paul Nolan's charge ran a fine race over timber at Down Royal late last month and looks likely to do well at this game.
