Registrar won this last year but could struggle to register another success as we prefer the claims of PRESSING MATTERS, Iasia and Hobson. The fitting of cheekpieces suggests that all is not well with Pressing Matters and he certainly hasn't gone on as expected since getting the better of the decent pair Racketeer and Saptapadi in a Wolverhampton maiden on his third start. However, he wasn't disgraced when having his first start since April at Lingfield and could conceivably improve sufficiently to take this prize. Inconspicuous Miss and Mutually Mine are others in the field that may benefit from the fitting of aids but Iasia has more potential after just two career starts. The form of her reappearance at Goodwood hasn't worked out too badly and she could be suited by stepping back in trip; she has more to offer. Hobson doesn't win very often but he has plenty of form to his name that suggests he can go close in this company but his record is offputting whilst Takaamul could struggle to defy a 4lb rise in the weights; Pressing Matters is the pick.
