Sir Clive Woodward believes Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje would walk into any team in the world - including the All Blacks.
England made history with a 3-0 series whitewash over Australia, which they secured with a 44-40 victory over the Wallabies at Allianz Stadium as Farrell was awarded man of the match with his haul of 24 points.
Woodward, who coached England to World Cup glory in 2003, believes that England can build a team around Farrell and his Saracens team-mate Maro itoje.
"England have a wonderful set of players and they are extremely young as well. I think England have two key players in Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje - these are massive players and would get into any team in the world, including the All Blacks.
"You can build your team around that."
Woodward went on to praise the whole of the England team and said it was a massive day for English sport.
"This is a huge, huge achievement and I hope they celebrate tonight," added Woodward.
"To go and concede 40 points and still win is special. It just seems to me that they can win in various ways - last week it was a defensive effort, today was far more attacking. Everything is in good shape and England really fronted up today.
"The whole of England should be extremely proud. It is a massive boost for rugby in this country to see England go and win in Australia 3-0.
"The way they have played, the way they have set themselves up is fantastic. It's a big day, and great for England sport."
