Highly-rated hooker pens long-term future with Welsh outfit

Richard Hibbard has signed a new four-year contract with the Ospreys, keeping him at the Liberty Stadium until 2012. The Welsh international is currently out with a shoulder injury, but is expected to be back in action by the end of the month. The 24-year-old, capped by Wales during their summer tours to Australia and South Africa over the past two years, is the latest in a long line of players to commit their long-term future to the Swansea-based side. "We believe Richard has the potential to be one of the world's best hookers," said Ospreys coach Jon Humphreys . "We are delighted that he sees his long-term future with the Ospreys. "He is a highly-motivated individual who has a strong desire to be a success, and the improvements in his game over the last 12 months are clear."
