South African now set to stay at Ravenhill until end of April
Stefan Terblanche has extended his stay with Ulster Rugby for a further two months until the end of April.
The South African initially arrived in Belfast in December on a three month contract as cover for the injured Jared Payne, who ruptured his Achilles in the RaboDirect PRO12 match against Treviso on October 7.
The 36-year-old has made quite an impact since joining Brian McLaughlin's squad, notching two tries in nine appearances so far, including in the 38-16 victory over Edinburgh on Friday.
Terblanche has mostly featured at fullback throughout his career but also has the ability to play at centre or on the wing.
