Andy Farrell is confident England are ready for their key Six Nations clash with Ireland in Dublin on Sunday having prepared with the intensity required for a match-up of such history, rivalry and quality.

Despite heading into this year's Six Nations under the radar to some extent, Ireland proved their quality and commitment with a superb first half against Wales which set up a 30-22 victory over defending champions Wales in Cardiff. "We know the passion there is going to be and the intensity Irish sides bring," said England captain Chris Robshaw. "We are under no illusions exactly how hard and how intense it is going to be but these are the games you want to play. As a squad, we have had spikes of intensity all week."
