Stuart Lancaster plans to make several changes to the England team for the second Test against New Zealand.
Lancaster told Sky Sports News he expects to bring back several regular first choice players who are now available or recovering from injury.
But the head coach added that those who shone in the enthralling 20-15 first Test defeat to the All Blacks at Eden Park can expect to be on the replacements bench in Dunedin next Saturday.
"There were a lot of players who got opportunities who took them," he said.
"The impact of the bench will be important in the second Test and perhaps the rotation that we put in between the second and third Tests might come into the equation as well."
Only nine or ten of the England side who performed so heroically in Auckland - only losing to a 78th-minute try while down to 14 men - are expected to start.
Owen Farrell, Courtney Lawes and Tom Wood are likely to be selected and others who may come into contention include injured scrum-half Danny Care and centre Billy Twelvetrees.
Lancaster said: "Danny's making good progress. We are hopeful he will take a little part in skills, in Monday's training, and then Tuesday should be able to train (with) no contact and be fit to go come Thursday, so we're pretty optimistic about him.
"Billy Twelvetrees is good, he came through Saturday's training fine."
And Lancaster is still confident despite knowing the All Blacks will improve for the second Test, which England must win to keep alive their hopes in the three-Test series.
He said: "It's always been our goal to come here and win the series. We didn't quite nail the first game but we'll be confident but know we've got to improve in order to win the second."
