Harlequins have signed Samoa international wing Alofa Alofa from La Rochelle.

Alofa scored 35 points in 19 appearances for the French Top 14 team after joining from Warataths in 2014.

The New Zealand-born 25-year-old started out in rugby league with the Syney Roosters and switched codes in 2013.

"I am really pleased to have secured the signing of Alofa. He is a dynamic and powerful player with the ability to break the line," John Kingston, Harlequins director of rugby told the club's website.

"His versatility in being able to play outside centre and wing is an added bonus and I have no doubt our supporters will enjoy watching him when he puts on the Harlequins shirt.
