Harlequins have signed former Dragons scrum-half Luc Jones on a three-month deal to offset Calum Waters' ankle injury.
The Wales U20 cap will slot straight into Quins' ranks, with rugby director John Kingston delighted to add cover to his squad.
"We are pleased to be able to bring in someone with Luc's ability for the next three months," said Kingston.
Harlequins sit eighth in the Aviva Premiership table with three wins and three losses, and Kingston admitted the upcoming November internationals will stretch their squad.
Scrum-half Danny Care will spend much of November on England duty, leaving potential openings for 22-year-old Jones to impress at The Stoop.
Kingston added: "Following the unfortunate injury to Calum, it was important to secure the necessary depth at scrum-half ahead of a period of international unavailability."
