With four fixtures taking place on Friday, here's a round-up of all that went on...

Glasgow Warriors 37-23 Cheetahs

Glasgow Warriors maintained their unbeaten home record in the Guinness PRO14 with a 37-23 win over Toyota Cheetahs.

The game kicked off in lashing rain and as both sides struggled to hold the ball it was Cheetahs who made the most of it with a goal-line to goal-line try in the seventh minute, scored by winger Malcom Jaer and converted by Niel Marais.

That was as good as it got for the visitors, while Glasgow's bonus-point success guarantees them a top-three finish in Conference A, and thus a knockout place.

Ulster 16-17 Edinburgh

Duncan Weir's last-gasp drop goal secured four vital points for Edinburgh in the Guinness PRO14 as they won 17-16 at Ulster.

The win sees them gain an edge on the Irish province in the race for the top-three play-offs, though both sides are on 46 points in the table after Ulster, who slipped to fourth, gained a losing bonus point.

Tries from winger Jason Harries and lock Lewis Carmichael, along with two conversions from Sam Hidalgo-Clyne and Weir's drop goal, earned the Scots the four points.

All Ulster's points came from John Cooney, via a try, a conversion and three penalties.

After the sides were tied 7-7 at half-time, the Irish province stretched their lead to 13-7 before the visitors, who dominated the second half, came back to take the game with the last play.

Ospreys 26-12 Kings

Ospreys made heavy weather of beating Southern Kings in the PRO14 at the Liberty Stadium.

Eventually the bonus-point win came as three tries in the final 14 minutes secured a 26-12 success. Scores for the home side came from scrum-half Tom Habberfield, two penalty tries and wing Jeff Hassler.

The Kings' tries were courtesy of Michael Makase and captain Michael Willemse, with Martin Du Toit kicking a conversion, but the visitors are still yet to pick up a PRO14 victory.

Ospreys were helped by the visitors being reduced to 13 men at one point in the second half with Johan Smith and Eital Bredenkamp in the sin-bin.

Connacht 11-19 Zebre

Zebre won for the first time on Irish soil as Michael Bradley masterminded a 19-11 PRO14 victory over his former side Connacht at the Sportsground.

The Italians had lost on all 24 previous visits to Irish provinces in all competitions - including eight in Galway - but they deservedly won this Conference A clash with the error-prone hosts.

Connacht trailed 7-6 at half-time, Craig Ronaldson's second penalty closing the gap after Zebre No 8 Renato Giammarioli had gobbled up an 18th-minute try.

Having been denied an earlier score due to a forward pass, Gabriele di Giulio touched down in the 46th minute and, with Connacht putting in their worst performance for some time, Andrea di Marchi's 64th-minute try from a charge-down sealed the province's fate.
