Glasgow Warriors have suffered a double injury blow with Italy international Leonardo Sarto ruled out for six months and Scotland centre Richie Vernon out for around three months.
Italy wing Sarto suffered a shoulder injury during his man-of-the-match performance in the stunning Champions Cup victory over Leicester last month.
He has undergone surgery and is likely to be out for the rest of the season.
Vernon has also undergone shoulder surgery and will be on the sidelines until February.
