Newport Gwent Dragons have confirmed contracts with Scarlets centre Adam Warren and London Welsh wing Nick Scott.

Warren, 24, made his Scarlets debut in 2011 and quickly rose to the international ranks - making his international debut for Wales against the Barbarians in June 2012.

He said: “I’m excited for a new challenge.

"The Dragons are a developing side with a lot of young players and I am looking forward to training and playing with the boys, whilst adding my experience to the back line.

"I’m looking forward to a big pre-season and working towards the 2015/16 season, with the aim to get good game time and make a good impression at the club."

Scott, 25, came through the ranks at Bath before joining Welsh and has represented England at U19 level. He will be reunited with Dragons director of rugby Lyn Jones, who he worked with at the London club.

He said: "I am delighted to have signed for Newport Gwent Dragons for the coming season. As an outsider looking in, it is clearly a club making progress, with a batch of talented young players.

"I’m looking forward to joining the club and playing my part in that journey.

"On a personal level I’m relishing the prospect of working with and continuing my development under Lyn Jones again. I enjoyed my time with Lyn at London Welsh and I’m looking forward to working in the environment he creates again.”

Jones added: "We have made two excellent additions to our squad for the coming season, both have much more to offer after excellent having starts to their careers.

"Nick was excellent for London Welsh when we last worked together and Adam Warren is very keen to add to his international appearance and a fresh team will offer a focus for him."
