Toulon will take on Clermont in an all-French affair at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin - with both sides appearing in their first Heineken Cup final.
And with the two Top 14 rivals enjoying an extra week to prepare for the showpiece event - courtesy of finishing first and second in the league and gaining a bye in the play-offs - Fernandez-Lobbe claims Toulon have addressed all issues with their game.
"It is going to allow us to refine the slightest details, to think about absolutely everything ahead of such an important meeting for all of us," the Argentina international told ercrugby.com.
"It is really advantageous to have this time.
"We must remain calm and believe in ourselves because Clermont are an extremely strong team. In such matches, every single detail counts - starting with mental strength."
Toulon boss Bernard Laporte insists his side will continue to prepare as normal for the game, despite the big-spending outfit being on the brink of their first major trophy since they won the French championship in 1992.
"They are going to play a final, there is nothing special to make, therefore they train, they play rugby, nothing more," Laporte added.
"The injured say that they are not injured and everybody wants to be part of the group, which is perfectly logical."
