NFL: Seattle Seahawks add to New York Giants' woes; Broncos, Cardinals and Packers also victorious

Last season's Super Bowl champions the Seattle Seahawks were 38-17 winners over the out of form New York Giants.

Russell Wilson threw two interceptions, but Marshawn Lynch rushed for a season-high 140 yards and four touchdowns to help his side go to 6-3, with the Giants now 3-6.

The Giants were unable to cope with the Seahawks' running game as they ended with a franchise record 350 yards rushing and the most in the NFL since Kansas City made 352 against Indianapolis in 2012.

The Denver Broncos completed a predictable victory over the struggling Oakland Raiders, with Peyton Manning throwing five touchdown passes in a 41-17 win.

Manning threw two interceptions early on, but recovered to throw 340 yards, while CJ Anderson ran for 90 yards.

The Broncos quarterback, who surpassed Brett Favre's career touchdown pass landmark earlier in the season, has 29 this term and another fine return means he has landed at least one touchdown pass in his last 48 appearances - the third longest run of all time.

The Arizona Cardinals scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to complete a 31-14 win over the St Louis Rams.

Starting quarterback Carson Palmer suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter but that didn't stop the Cards as Drew Stanton stepped to throw a touchdown and go three for five for 85 yards to see his side home.

In the late game, Aaron Rodgers threw six touchdown passes as the Green Bay Packers hammered divisional rivals the Chicago Bears 55-14.

Rodgers threw the ball 315 yards, connecting twice with wide receiver Jordy Nelson in the end zone, as the Bears lost their fifth game in six.
