Jack Culcay is seeking "revenge" ahead of his WBA world super-welterweight title defence against Demetrius Andrade.
'Golden Jack' is looking to avenge a questionable loss in the unpaid ranks when he faces his former foe at the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle, in the German city of Mannheim, on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
"Last time we fought at the World Amateur Championships in Chicago, the judges clearly favoured the home fighter," he said.
"They gave him point after point when in reality it was a really close fight for the first two rounds. He beat me and won the gold that year, but now it's my time for revenge."
Andrade (23-0-KO16) is a former WBO title holder at 154lbs and undefeated in 23 outings. He is best known in the UK for stopping Brian Rose in 2014 but has only fought twice since.
However, Culcay (22-1-KO11) is reading little into his opponent's reputation and believes he will be victorious in his home country this time around.
"We will be fighting on a level playing ground in Germany and I will prove I am one of the best boxers at 154lbs," he said.
Watch Jack Culcay v Demetrius Andrade this Saturday live on Sky Sports 2, from 9.00pm.
