World Boxing Super Series: Nonito Donaire vs Stephon Young and Regis Prograis vs Kiryl Relikh
Sunday 28 April 2019 00:28, UK
Nonito Donaire is part of the World Boxing Super Series semi-finals that are live on Sky Sports Main Event at 1am on Sunday morning.
The popular Donaire meets Stephon Young in the bantamweight tournament while Regis Prograis fights Kiryl Relikh in the final four of the super-lightweights.
The action comes live from Louisiana, USA.
Donaire vs Young
Donaire was originally scheduled to fight WBO champion Zolani Tete, who withdrew earlier this week with a shoulder injury, making room for Young to step in.
Donaire battled Carl Frampton in Belfast last year and, more recently, took the WBA 'super' bantamweight title from Ryan Burnett, who succumbed to an injury.
The winner will fight either Naoya Inoue or Emmanuel Rodriguez in the final.
Prograis vs Relikh
Prograis is boxing in his home state and will carry the expectation of the crowd, while Relikh will defend his WBA super-lightweight title.
Prograis won a quarter-final bout in this tournament against Britain's Terry Flanagan in Louisiana. Relikh was beaten in a world-title fight by Ricky Burns three years ago but has rebounded to become a world champion.
The winner meets Scotland's Josh Taylor or Ivan Baranchyk.
