Anthony Joshua says there are still some big names he wants to compete with before his world title sinks in

Anthony Joshua insists he will fight anyone and says he is prepared to face both Tyson Fury and David Haye on the same night.

The London 2012 gold medallist was crowned IBF world heavyweight champion after clinically stopping Charles Martin inside two rounds at London's O2 on Saturday night.

Former WBA champion Haye and current WBO and WBA champion Fury have both declared their interest in fighting the 26-year-old - with Fury set for a July 9 rematch against Wladimir Klitschko.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has already indicated Joshua could fight at Wembley Stadium on the same night as Fury v Klitschko II, and Joshua says a bout at the national stadium would have to be against a big-name opponent.

"July 9 is one of the dates he (Eddie Hearn) has in place but I think he has a few options," Joshua told Sky Sports News HQ on Sunday.

"A fight at Wembley in July is big time. That's big time. I'm going to need to fight a serious opponent so keep your eyes peeled for who it might be if it is a Wembley fight."

David Haye believes he is the best heavyweight on the planet and he would see Joshua's shots coming if the pair met in the ring

Pressed on what his dream scenario is in terms of his next opponent, Joshua said: "Tyson Fury and David Haye in the same ring at once!

"It's possible [that my next fight could be against Haye]. I don't see why not but as a fighter I will fight anyone, I'll fight them both on the same night - it's no problem - but my management team will steer my career in the right direction."

Fury wasted no time in labelling the newly-crowned IBF champion as 'slow and ponderous' during his win over Martin, but Joshua says the Wilmslow fighter should be concentrating on his own career first and foremost.

"I don't want to talk about Fury too much because I feel like this is my time to enjoy right now," Joshua said.

"He should focus on his July 9 defence and when he gets that out of the way then me and him can start talking. But as of now, I had to handle things yesterday and that was my time, he has July 9 - that is his time and then me and him can get back to talking.

"He's the boss, he claims he's the 'Gypsy King' and he should just focus on himself and keep that title alive."

The fight night panel discuss what the future holds for Joshua

Joshua revealed he was returning to the gym later on Sunday and says despite winning a world title in just his 16th fight, he is still very much at the beginning of his journey.

"There are still some big names I want to compete with first so it hasn't really sunk in yet," he said.

"But I'm happy. I'm content because I feel like this was supposed to happen with the work we've put in.

"This is not a game, it's not by luck we are here it's by hard work so that's why I'm content. I feel like winning that belt yesterday was supposed to happen and that's why I'm not too overwhelmed. I just want to keep going and keep on rolling."
