Ricky Burns has conceded he did not deserve to beat Anthony Crolla, but says he wants another opportunity to fight the Englishman.
Crolla was victorious in his hometown of Manchester on Saturday night after he won by a unanimous decision, with the judges scoring the bout 116-113, 117-112, 116-114.
Despite all the judges calling the fight in his opponents favour Burns has taken to Twitter in the hope of earning another opportunity to fight Crolla.
Although the three-time world champion admitted he only deserved to come away with a draw.
"What a fight me and Anthony Crolla had, just watched it back," he posted. "On the night, I thought I'd done enough! But watching it back I scored it a draw.
"What an atmosphere in there and thanks for all the messages
"Let's get this rematch sorted."
While Burns is intent on a rematch with Crolla, the former WBA lightweight champion has his sights set on a third bout with Jorge Linares after losing to the Venezuelan in their two previous meetings.
"It is certainly a possibility," Crolla told talkSPORT. "We will look forward to what makes the most business sense.
"Obviously the aim is to become a world champion again and whichever fight gets me into a position to fight for a world title that is something I would do."
