Natasha Jonas continued her impressive start as a professional with a third–round stoppage over Mariana Gulyas at York Hall.
'Miss GB' was never troubled, and showcased her superior skills and power with a dominant display at the historic venue, dropping her Hungarian opponent twice in the second session, before ending the contest in the third.
The Liverpool fighter is now hopeful of fighting for a title next, and has targeted a place on the Tony Bellew vs David Haye undercard on December 17, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
The 33-year-old southpaw found her range from the opening bell, finding a home with the left hand which visibly rocked her opponent immediately. A right uppercut, left-hand combination then jolted Gulyas' knees at the end of a dominant session.
Jonas upped the tempo of her work in the second, dropping her opponent with a left hand. Gulyas made the count, but another left hand to the head followed by right hook to the body forced the visitor to take another knee.
Sensing her opponent wilting, Jonas landed another left hand to the head which dropped Gulyas heavily in the third, forcing the referee to end the contest.
"It was brilliant," she told Sky Sports. You're always learning in every bout you're in. I didn't perform as I'd like in Liverpool but tonight was better.
"I'd love the opportunity to step-up and fight on the Haye-Bellew card for a title."
