David Price has vowed to be the first man to floor David Allen when the British heavyweights collide in London this summer.
Price faces Allen in a domestic showdown on the undercard of Dillian Whyte's clash with Oscar Rivas at The O2 on July 20, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
"It's a great fight, he's as tough as they come," said Price, who returns to the ring after being bitten in his last fight against Kash Ali.
"He's the actual favourite in the fight. He's won his last four fights and just beaten a big name in his last fight.
"I'm just going to try do what people think and I think is probably difficult to do, knock Dave Allen out.
"He's been stopped on his feet, he's probably one of those fighters who could go through his whole career without getting put on the floor but that's what I'm going to be looking to do.
"It's the biggest fight of my career by far, so I need to do everything possible to make sure my hand is raised on the night."
Allen, who knocked out former WBA heavyweight champion Lucas Browne in his last fight, has lost four times in 23 fights, including two stoppage defeats, which came while the Doncaster fighter was still on his feet.
"I been after this fight for years," said Allen. "I wanted it three years ago but David Price three years ago would have knocked me out, I can see that now.
"If I beat David Price I'm up there with the top 15 or 10 in the world and I've got where I am today by not really doing anything.
"I am excited and I will train very hard because I'm a little bit scared as well and I don't want to get knocked out."
