Carl Froch dropped a strong hint at the Canelo v Jacobs weigh-in that his professional boxing career may not be over!

Carl Froch has refused to rule out making a comeback after reports linked him with a third fight with George Groves.

The former three-time supper-middleweight world champion retired after claiming a second straight stoppage win over Groves in 2014, while his bitter rival hung up his gloves in January.

Froch, 41, is currently in America where he is working for Sky Sports covering the huge middleweight unification fight between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs.

"Biological, I feel about 35," Froch told Sky Sports' Adam Smith when questioned about a ring return at the weigh-in on Friday night.

"One thing I'm doing after coming out here and enjoying the atmosphere is to get myself back in the gym.

"The bug never leaves a fighter but one thing I'm going to do and that's all I'm going to say is I'm going to get myself back in the gym and see how I feel."
