Big brother's former foe next up for Magic

Matthew Hatton will take on Ben Tackie in Las Vegas. The pair will meet on the undercard of big brother Ricky's showdown with Paulie Malignaggni, live on Sky Box Office. Tackie of course took Ricky the distance back in 2003 and was once considered one of the toughest light-welterweights in the world. He has since moved up to welterweight and has lost his last four, but will represent a tough test of Hatton Jnr's skills having been in with the likes of Kostya Tszyu, Sharmba Mitchell and Kendall Holt. Tackie peaked in 2002 when he challenged Tszyu for the undisputed light-welterweight title and took him 12 rounds and in 30 fights (29-10-1) has never been stopped. He will certainly be the biggest name on Hatton Jnr's record and a test as he continues to rebuild his career. Hatton Jnr was the first to leave trainer Billy Graham's Phoenix Camp and team up solely with Lee Beard following his Commonwealth title defeat at the hands of Craig Watson on the Homecoming bill in Manchester, in May. He bounced back to out-point Scott Woolford in Nottingham in September and will need to be at his best to make it back-to-back wins against Tackie.
