Pakistan batsman Babar Azam will miss the rest of the two-Test series against England after suffering a fractured wrist at Lord's on Friday.
The 23-year-old was at the crease on day two of the first Test when he was struck on the arm by a Ben Stokes delivery.
Babar was treated on the field for several minutes before being taken to hospital for a scan. It was soon confirmed he will miss the rest of the Lord's Test, as well as the match at Headingley next week.
Pakistan physio Cliff Deacon said: "We took him for a precautionary X-ray which unfortunately confirmed a fractured left wrist.
"It normally takes four to six weeks to heal so we will further assess him with further X-rays."
Babar was one of the stars of day two as Pakistan strengthened their grasp on the Test. He top scored with 68 at stumps with his side 350-8, leading England by 166 runs.
