India's Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have each been ordered to pay around $30,000 to charity following comments made about women on a chat show.
BCCI ombudsman Justice DK Jain made the ruling on the fines for all-rounder Pandya and batsman Rahul, both of whom have been named in India's 15-man World Cup squad.
The players will miss no further cricket, having been suspended for five ODIs each as part of a provisional ban which was later lifted.
Pandya and Rahul - currently playing for Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab respectively in the IPL - appeared before Justice Jain earlier this month to repeat the apology they had made in public following the incident on talk show Koffee with Karan.
"Impressionable young adults try to emulate not only their style of playing but also their conduct and demeanour and therefore, they cannot be unmindful of the impact of their casual and off-the-cuff remarks," Justice Jain said of Pandya and Rahul.
Jain also directed the BCCI to deduct the fine from the players' match fees if they fail to pay the two-million rupees themselves within four weeks.
