Busiest winter of live cricket on Sky Sports...

Sky Sports will show live cricket every week throughout the winter, from November to March. Eight nations will be shown in 20 Test matches, at least 35 One-Day Internationals and six international Twenty20 games in the busiest winter of live cricket ever on Sky Sports. The coverage comes from five different countries across three continents as India, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka and New Zealand host major tours. Live coverage will include: ENGLAND: England's tours to Sri Lanka and New Zealand are exclusively live on Sky Sports with the Test series in Sri Lanka starting on 1st December. England move on to New Zealand for 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and two Twenty20 matches from February. INDIA: India host their arch rivals Pakistan in a series comprising five ODIs and three Test matches from 6th November. Sky Sports will also show their tour to Australia, beginning with the Boxing Day Test in December. AUSTRALIA: Two Tests against Sri Lanka in November before the 'derby' series against New Zealand with a Twenty20 and three ODIs in December. Ricky Ponting's men then host India in a four Test series, before a triangular ODI series with Sri Lanka. Paul King, producer of cricket for Sky Sports said: "The cricket year enters its busiest period and Sky Sports will be there with coverage of all the key clashes. The schedule is full of mouth-watering encounters and I'm sure viewers will appreciate our year long commitment." England's three Test match series with Sri Lanka begins on 1st December as Michael Vaughan leads his men into one of the sub-continent's toughest environments. Sky Sports will also follow England's tour to New Zealand live, with coverage of every ball from three Tests, five One-Day Internationals plus two international Twenty20 games beginning on 5th February. Sky has shown England live each winter since 1990 when it screened the first ever ball by ball coverage of an overseas tour with England's series in the West Indies. In addition to coverage featuring England, India and Australia, there's also action from South Africa throughout the winter. Graeme Smith's men host New Zealand with two Tests, and international Twenty20 and three ODIs beginning on 8th November. The South Africans also entertain the West Indies with three Tests, an international Twenty20 and five ODIs starting on Boxing Day. Sky Sports broadcasts an unrivalled range of live cricket from around the world twelve months of the year. In addition to the winter programming Sky will next summer show every ball from England's home series against New Zealand and South Africa exclusively live, plus coverage from each of the major domestic trophies.
