Young batsman Tom Kohler-Cadmore has signed a new two-year contract with Worcestershire.
Kohler-Cadmore scored his first County Championship century in this week's win over Middlesex and celebrated it by signing an extended deal with the New Road side.
The 21-year-old had 12 months remaining on his deal but is now committed to the county until the end of the 2017 season.
He made a big impact in Worcestershire's limited overs teams this summer, but lost his place in the four-day team and was only recalled for the last two games of the season when Alex Gidman was ruled out by injury.
Kohler-Cadmore took his chance by scoring 130 against Middlesex, and although Worcestershire suffered relegation, he is happy to have signed his new deal.
He said: "It is nice to sign on and have a bit more security at the club to be able hopefully in the next couple of years show them what I can do.
"I feel there is a lot more to come. I haven't really scored the weight of runs I would have liked this year but it was massive to get that first century, to get that off my back really.
"The first one is probably the hardest one to get and once you've got one, you have the belief and the confidence that you are going to get a lot more.
"I'm real proud of the achievement and look forward to next year now. It went well in the T20 and was then nice to finish well in the Championship. Hopefully in the future I can deliver in all formats for the club."
