The Hundred: Tim Seifert's big knock guides Manchester Super Giants to thrilling seven-run win vs London Spirit
Thursday 23 July 2026 21:40, UK
Tim Seifert's huge knock of 67 runs off 45 deliveries saw Manchester Super Giants defeat London Spirit by seven runs in thrilling circumstances at Lord's.
After losing the toss, the Super Giants were sent in to bat first, setting the hosts a target of 139 to win.
But in the most thrilling of circumstances, Spirit captain Liam Livingstone, who starred with the bat and ball, edged his side closer and closer towards the Super Giants' total, scoring 69 runs off 40 deliveries.

Thanks to his tally of four fours and five sixes, Livingstone moved his side to needing nine runs off three deliveries, before he was bowled out by England prospect Sonny Baker and closed out the match by dismissing James Coles.
"We couldn't get over the line, a little disappointed," Livingstone said. "It was a good game of cricket. Just a shame we fell short.
"It was one of those pitches where they were probably about par. We just got ourselves too far behind the run rate to catch up at the end.
"Like I said, a little bit rusty and disappointed. We bowled some really good stuff through the middle and dragged them back towards the end. It's a pretty decent start and hopefully we can build on this."
