Nottinghamshire all-rounder Steven Mullaney has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at Trent Bridge until the end of the 2017 season.
The 28-year-old helped Notts win the 2010 County Championship title following his move from Lancashire and he was named the county's player of the year in 2013.
Nottinghamshire director of cricket Mick Newell said: "Steven has become an important player for us and we're pleased that he was keen to commit what we will hope will be the peak years of his career to Nottinghamshire.
"He has a big role to play in white ball cricket and he's determined to fight for his place in our championship team in the face of increased competition for places."
