Kevin Pietersen hit another fifty, but couldn't prevent Sunfoil Dolphins slipping to a five-wicket defeat to Nashua Cape Cobras in his final game in this year's Ram Slam.

Pietersen has hit two hundreds and only failed to pass fifty once in his five-match stint, with the Dolphins winning the first four, but he now flies out to Australia to play in the Big Bash League for Melbourne Stars.

Pietersen's 59 from 39 balls against the Cobras contained six fours and three sixes but after he fell in the 12th over, the Dolphins could only muster 148-9 from their 20 overs.

West Indies' Dwayne Bravo fell first ball after Pietersen's dismissal as the impressive Wayne Parnell (4-20) found himself on a hat-trick, but David Miller (35 off 29) and Ryan McLaren (26no off 17) helped fire the Dolphins to a competitive score.

Richard Levi made light work of the run-chase in the early overs, smashing five fours and five sixes to score 61 from 28 balls.

After his wicket the Cobras stumbled slightly, and when overseas star Kieron Pollard was the fourth wicket to fall, stumped for seven, they still needed 41 from the final six overs, but managed to reach their target with two balls to spare.

In the second game of the afternoon in Centurion, The Unlimited Titans beat Chevrolet Warriors by five wickets to keep pace with the Dolphins at the top of the table.
