Chettithody Shamshuddin steps down from India v England decider

Controversial umpire Chettithody Shamshuddin has stepped down from Wednesday's T20 decider between India and England.
The umpire says he is unwell, and he will undertake third umpire duties rather than officiate in the middle.
Shamshuddin wrongly gave Joe Root out late in the second T20 clash, having earlier reprieved India captain Virat Kohli when a Chris Jordan delivery hit him flush on his pad in front of middle stump.
England captain Eoin Morgan made his unhappiness known after the match.
"If that happened in a big game in a World T20, you would be fuming with that decision," he said of Root's dismissal, in which he was given out lbw despite a clear inside edge.
Shamshuddin is a member of the International Cricket Council's international panel - the tier below the elite list - and has stood in 21 one-day internationals and 11 T20Is dating back to 2013.
He was a late appointment to Sunday's match in Nagpur, having officiated an ODI between Australia and Pakistan in Adelaide just three days earlier,
