The Indian Premier League have banned Australia duo Steve Smith and David Warner from playing in this year's tournament.
The bans come in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal which has led to the pair reportedly receiving 12-month suspensions from Cricket Australia.
Australia captain Smith, vice-captain Warner and team-mate Cameron Bancroft have been punished for trying to manipulate the ball during the third Test against South Africa in Cape Town on Saturday.
Bancroft was caught on camera attempting to change the condition of the ball with tape - and the trio have been sent home from the tour ahead of the fourth and final Test.
Smith and Warner have $1.9m IPL contracts, Smith with the Rajasthan Royals and Warner for Sunrisers Hyderabad, and had already stepped down as captains of their respective sides.
IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said on Wednesday: "The players that they have banned, we are also barring those two players from this season.
"The franchises will get replacement for the players."
