Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain discuss why batsmen are struggling in England

Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain and Ian Ward discuss the possible reasons why batsmen have struggled to make runs in the last few years in England.
Click on the video above to watch the talk in full as Atherton gives his opinion on three major reasons batsmen have failed to make big scores, including the change in batting techniques due to the amount of one-day cricket now being played.
Hussain also believes that England's best batting line-up of the modern era came in 2011 - when 17 centuries were scored in the United Kingdom as opposed to just the three hit this summer - which included Alastair Cook, Andrew Strauss, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell.
The pair also agree that improved drainage across all Test grounds and the introduction of floodlights has attributed to more challenging conditions.
