On another day full of emotion for England's retiring opener, it was Keaton Jennings who endured another tortuous innings at the crease with his decision to leave a ball from Mohammad Shami saw him bowled for 10.

Jadeja followed up his impressive batting effort by bowling Moeen Ali through the gate for 20 but Cook battled hard to end the day four runs away from a second half-century of the Test and potentially the perfect ending to his career.
